The IBPS PO race is on! The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has successfully completed the first slot of IBPS PO VI 2016 examination on 22nd of October 2016. IBPS PO Prelims 2016 - Exam Analysis and Expected Cut off - 16th October 2016, Slot 1

Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) successfully conducted the first slot of IBPS PO Pre exam on 16th October 2016 at various examination centers. The exam will be conducted in four slots.

The slot timings are as follows:

Slot 1- 8:00 AM (Morning Shift)

Slot 2 -10:30 AM(Morning Shift)

Slot 3 -1:00 PM(Afternoon Shift)

Slot 4- 3:30 PM(Evening Shift)

English Section: IBPS PO Prelims English section intends to check the grammar and its usage, Vocabulary and also the reading comprehension. You need to be a good reader to score well in this section. You can easily score in the English section. Questions are asked from important topics such as Vocabulary questions ( synonyms, antonyms, sentence completion, word formation etc.), comprehension passage, theme detection, grammar Portion – spelling, sentence , set of rules active passive voice, indirect direct speech, articles, preposition, phrases and idioms, sentence Improvement, spotting error questions. one Word word substitution and fill in the Blanks etc.

Difficulty Level : The English section was of Moderate level.
